The Verdict: the Good and the Bad

Let’s go back to the main questions I promised to give you an answer for:

• Most importantly, how much does the course cost? And is it worth the money?

As far as YouTube creation and monetization courses go, this one is top-notch in quality, levels of production, and clarity of exposure.

YouTube monetization would not be my first recommendation for online hustling, but if you really want to focus on this type of online business, I cannot find fault with Matt here.

Does it deliver? Hell yes, and sometimes even more than I expected. If you go through this course you will come out of it with a whole new array of skills. Even millionaire YouTube entrepreneurs like Chase Namic, who earns $100,000 a month from YouTube revenue, has taken Matt’s course and given a flattering review

Is Matt Par a scam? No, sir. He has a 60 days money-back guarantee and about 50 reviews on his website attest to his legit-status. He has been mentioned in Forbes and Yahoo Finance, just to name two articles. His closed Facebook group, open only to his students, had 300 members in April, and at the time of writing this review, the numbers have blown to over 900.

Finally, the course costs $597, but, as I said before, with a 60 days money back guarantee.

PROS:

• Dan knows his stuff and is clear in explaining it.
• He has YouTube’s prizes to show what he has accomplished.
• Even pros like Namic have learned from his course.
• You won’t need another YouTube channel building course after this.

CONS:

• Limited to one platform only.
• YouTube can delete your channel for going against its regulations after months or years of work.
• Does YouTube advertizing even work in the age of adblock?
• Not the best online business model in 2020

My Thoughts

Now, I didn’t give 3.5 stars because I think YouTube content creating is a bad move: I have a YouTube channel as part of my business, and I realize the potential it has. 

I just happen to think they are not the most cost-effective way of making money online in 2020.

I run a $50K per month lead generation business but all of my leads are generating through free traffic or SEO. So it’s pretty much passive income, I don’t have to worry about becoming viral and being seen by millions of people: I just need my websites to be seen by the right people at the right time. 

Reasons I’m not into YouTube Monetization

• The process is slow, and finding that one video that will go viral is not as simple as it seems. 
• The use of material you haven’t shot for ‘fair use’ is a grey area and many YouTube accounts have been terminated for that, wasting many months of work by the creators.
• Adblocking has diminished the cashflow to YouTube videos by 70% in the last 7 years: Matt suggests putting an ad every 2 minutes on a 10 minute video.. that’s all lost revenue if your viewers block ads.
• Making it on YouTube means you have to be better than thousands of other channels who are fighting as hard, or harder, than you to emerge. It’s a numbers game.

Like I said before, I run a $50K per month lead generation business but all of my leads are generating through free traffic or SEO. The website I create ranks organically on the first page of Google, in the so-called map pack, and the leads just start pouring in.

The competition on local level is minimal, results are almost guaranteed.

This is pretty much guaranteed passive income, I don’t have to worry about uploading a new video and checking out algorithms and performance. Once my site ranks it generally stays ranks with very little to no maintenance.

I am sure you can still make money from YouTube monetization, clearly Matt Par has done it and he is successful at what he does. I just think mine is a much easier and more streamlined way of income, with very little maintenance, tweaking and analysis once the site is published and starts ranking.

This is why I still recommend people look into doing lead generation with free traffic because then you have full control over the lead gen websites, nobody will cancel or demonetize them for violating some policy or other, like YouTube does, and I know I am going to keep my clients happy.

Conclusion

Matt Par’s Tube Mastery and Monetization is solid, it really has all you need to learn about channel creation and build-up. 

However, the variables in getting a YouTube website go viral are too many, and it’s both risky when it comes to money and time.

Unlike YouTube and its algorithms and analytics, if you know how to generate leads with free traffic, you can virtually go into any niche and create crazy results for clients.

That’s how 90% of my multiple 6 figure income is generated. And I should add that it’s passive income, because free traffic never stops once my site is ranked.

 In 2020, even during Covid-19, I continue to build more lead gen sites and I write loads of blog posts for this site, because I’ve come to realize that these are the high-income producing activities because it directly increases my free traffic every month.
